Peter Tan

President - Flextronics Asia

Mr Tan has been with Flextronics since the acquisition of JIT Electronics in 2000, where he held the position of Executive Director. A veteran in the electronics industry, Mr Tan brings more than 30 years of manufacturing and operations expertise to Flextronics.

Prior to JIT Electronics, Mr. Tan served as Managing Director, Asia Pacific Operations for Apple Computer, and previously as General Manager and Managing Director at Molex Singapore for 5 years. Preceding Molex Singapore, Mr. Tan spent 18 years with National Semiconductor Asia Pacific, where he held various positions in manufacturing, materials management, operations and product lines planning.

Mr Tan received a Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and an MBA from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
