
Sukhinder Singh Cassidy is Google's Vice President for Asia-Pacific and Latin America Operations. In this role, she is responsible for all of Google's sales operations in these regions. Sukhinder also oversees the company's local search and channel initiatives globally.
Prior to joining Google, Sukhinder was Co-founder and Senior Vice President of Business Development for Yodlee.com Inc., a leading solutions provider to the global financial services industry. From 1999 to 2003, she was responsible for building Yodlee's client base and revenues, signing agreements with companies such as Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Bank of America, Wachovia, Yahoo!, Microsoft, and AOL. For her work at Yodlee and in the industry, Sukhinder has been profiled in publications including Business Week Online, Canada Post, and Innovation Nation, a book profiling Canadian business leaders (Jossey-Bass, 2002).
Prior to joining Yodlee, Sukhinder worked in Silicon Valley on strategy and business development for leading e-commerce providers Amazon.com and Junglee Corporation, in New York and London with investment bank Merrill Lynch and pay television provider British Sky Broadcasting.
Sukhinder is a graduate of the Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Mr. Chen, chairman, CEO, and president of Sybase, is a technology industry leader, corporate turnaround specialist, and uncommonly well-informed voice on relations between the U.S. and China. He has served as chief executive officer and chairman since November 1998. Under his leadership, Sybase has become a highly and consistently profitable company and is firmly established as the largest independent software vendor specializing in mission critical enterprise database, information management and mobility solutions. Through early investment in the Unwired Enterprise space, Sybase has garnered number one analyst rankings as leader in mobile database, mobile device management and mobile middleware. Before joining Sybase, Mr. Chen held positions as the president of the Open Enterprise Computing Division of Siemens Nixdorf, and chief operating officer and president of Pyramid Technology Corporation.
Mr. Chen is recognized globally as an expert on global business and international trade. In October, 2004, U.S. President George W. Bush appointed him to serve as a member of the President's Export Council, a bi-partisan committee of prominent business leaders, Cabinet Secretaries, and members of the U.S. House and Senate that provides advice and recommendations to the U.S. government on export and international trade policy. He is also actively involved in international relations, particularly between the U.S. and China. He was among the first American business executives to argue in favor of normal trade relations with China. In January of 2004, he was elected to the board of directors of the Walt Disney Company. Mr. Chen is also a member of the boards of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Committee of 100, and the San Francisco Symphony.
Mr. Chen graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering. He also holds a master's of science from California Institute of Technology, an honorary professorship from Shanghai University, and honorary doctor of Science degree from the City University of Hong Kong.
