THOMAS DAVIDOFF
Thomas Davidoff is currently an Assistant Professor in the Real Estate Group at the Haas School of Business.  Graduating with a Bachelors from Harvard, he went on to get his Masters in Public Affairs in Urban and Regional Planning at Princeton then a PhD in Economics and Urban Studies and Planning from MIT.  His current research focuses on Public Finance and Real Estate/Urban Economics and had been published for his work on the Reverse Mortgage Industry and Home Equity of the Elderly




PRIYARANJAN KUMAR
Client Solutions, at Cushman & Wakefield, has over 9 years experience representing office tenants and investors in predominantly the key emerging markets in Asia Pacific.  Currently based out of San Jose, CA, Mr. Kumar works to explore business opportunities for C&W outside of the United States.  As a key, experienced international resource, Priyaranjan also works closely with C&W’s key account managers to provide Strategic Account Management expertise for the international work scope on such opportunities. Priyaranjan’s in-depth knowledge and immensely successful track record in some of the most challenging emerging markets arms him to provide incisive and contemporary advise for both occupier and investor related issues. Mr. Kumar works very closely with colleagues in emerging markets to update and train them on various client expectations and delivery processes from a North American perspective, this involves travel to these offices as well as regular conferences.

 

CHRIS O'BRIEN
Chris O'Brien is responsible for overseeing New City Corporation's operations in China and South Korea. Mr. O'Brien brings more than 25 years of experience in law, mergers & acquisitions and real estate investment in Asia and the United States. Prior to joining New City in 2006, Mr. O'Brien was Managing Director and Co-head of Asia for Starwood Capital Group in Tokyo where he led the sourcing and acquisition of real estate in Japan and China. Previously he had practiced law in the areas of M&A, real estate and securities for 23 years in Japan and New York and had been the Managing Partner for the Tokyo office of the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney where he advised private equity funds and other corporate investors in Japan from 1998 through 2003. Mr. O'Brien is a New York licensed attorney and is a founding member of the Urban Land Institute's Japan Council. Mr. O'Brien holds a B.A. from Fordham University and a J.D. from the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania.



David C. Twist
David C. Twist is Vice President, Director of Research for AMB Property
Corporation. Prior to joining AMB in January of 2000, Mr. Twist was a
Director in CIBC World Market's Equity Research department. At CIBC, he
served as the firm's Real Estate Economist, primarily responsible for debt
and equity real estate research. Prior to CIBC, he worked in the real
estate research departments of the O'Connor Group and JP Morgan Fleming
Asset Management. Mr. Twist has 16 years experience in real estate related
research. He received a bachelor's degree in quantitative economics from
the University of California, San Diego. He is a member of NAIOP and the
CFA Institute.
