Dr. Laura D. Tyson, Professor - Business Administration & Economics
Laura
Tyson is Professor, Business Administration and Economics at the Haas
School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. She was
formerly Dean of London Business School from 2002-2006, and Dean of
the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley from
1998-2001.
Dr. Tyson served in the Clinton Administration from January 1993 to December 1996. Between March 1995 and December 1996, she served as President Clinton’s National Economic Adviser and was the highest-ranking woman in the Clinton White House. Dr. Tyson was a key architect of President Clinton’s domestic and international economic policy agenda during his first term in office. As the Administration’s top economic adviser, she managed all economic policy-making throughout the executive branch. Dr Tyson also served as a member of the President’s National Security Council and Domestic Policy Council. Prior to her appointment as National Economic Adviser, Dr. Tyson served as the sixteenth Chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, the first woman to hold that post since the Council’s establishment in 1946. In that capacity, she was responsible for providing the President and his National Economic Council with advice and analysis on all economic policy matters, for preparing the Administration’s economic forecasts and for the annual Economic Report of the President.
Before joining the Clinton Administration, Dr. Tyson published a number of books and articles on industrial competitiveness and trade, including the influential book Who’s Bashing Whom? Trade Conflict in High Technology Industries. She also published several books and articles on the economies of Central Europe and their transition to market systems.
In January 2003, the UK’s Department of Trade and Industry appointed Dr. Tyson Chair of a special Task Force on Non-Executive Directors, following work done by Derek Higgs in his Review of the Role and Effectiveness of Non-Executive Directors. In June 2003, The Tyson Report on the Recruitment and Development of Non-Executive Directors was published, shortly before the publication of the revised UK Combined Code (July 2003).
Dr. Tyson has a summa cum laude undergraduate degree from Smith College (1969) and a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1974).
She is a member of the Boards of the Brookings Institution, Bruegel, the Peter G. Peterson Institute of International Economics, Eastman Kodak Company, Morgan Stanley Company, AT&T, Inc. and 24/7 Customer.

Steve
is founder, CEO and Managing Director of Infosys Consulting, a wholly
owned subsidiary of Infosys Technologies, created in response
to clients' demands for greater value for their consulting investment.
Infosys combines management consulting with global delivery of
technology in a pure lean model. This helps clients design and
implement operational changes more quickly, with superior quality, at
an overall lower cost.
Steve was selected by leaders of peer consulting companies as one of
the Top 25 Consultants in the World in 2003 and 2005*.
At Deloitte Consulting, he was elected as one of eight members of the
Board of Directors by his fellow 500 Partners. Steve was also a
founder and global leader of the Deloitte Consulting CRM practice
which grew to be a $750M practice in seven years while under his
leadership.
Steve is known for his pioneering work in the democratization of
shareholder value metrics through his development of the Value Map and
the Competitiveness Framework.
Steve is frequently quoted on the topics of building strong customer
relationships, India/US relations and the consulting profession. He
has appeared on CNBC’s “Closing Bell” with Maria Bartiromo, CNBC Asia,
New Delhi Television, and as a speaker at the World Economic Forum in
Davos, Switzerland.
He holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern
University and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from George
Washington University.

Amitabh Chaudhry, Managing Director & CEO
Amitabh Chaudry joined Infosys BPO in 2003 as head of transition, became chief operating officer in April 2005, and took over as CEO in March 2006. He has over 17 years of experience and was last with Credit Lyonnais Securities in Singapore as head of the investment banking franchise for South East Asia and structured finance practice for Asia. Previously, he was with Bank of America as Head of Technology Investment Banking for Asia, Regional Finance Head for Wholesale Banking and Global Markets, and Chief Finance Officer, India.
